While our education programs provide students with the tools needed to become a young adult, The
Cola-Cola Africa Foundation Entrepreneurship programs provide them with the tools needed to prosper as a young adult.
Our main objective is to help today’s youth understand the importance of self-reliance and the impact they all have on the future of the economy by addressing the issue of unemployment in Africa and helping to create a culture of entrepreneurship.
The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation has invested $3.1 million in programs that promote entrepreneurship amongst the youth in 12 countries. This was with the help of partners such as Junior Achievement (JA) and Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE). These partnerships made in-school and after-school programs for students possible. These programs focused on financial literacy, business planning, interview skills and teamwork while delivering outreach entrepreneurship training and mentoring to small scale community entrepreneurs.
